Premium Octane Gas.....?

Hey ppls. I just Bought a 1997 Acura CL 3.0w/vtec The dealer told me that premium octane gas is bad for the vtec. Is this true?

jesus christ people. can you get anymore off topic? andyou wonder why they lock tompics without saying why.

the 3.0CL users manual calls for 87 octane. anything less is bad for the engine, while anything more is a waste of money and loses some power.
