Yeah it was an Audi one. Plus I didnt perfectly put it on, more like just laid in on. but maybe a smaller BMW can work. Also his is painted.

Its a 1997 3.0 with 116k...and the tranny seems to be alright, it pulls nice, little to no lag or slip except for the usual automatic delay (im very used to driving standard)
ive heard that these cars along with their bigger TL brother have tranny issues, something like too much whp and torque for the tranny? im not sure
how long do the trannys usually last? what goes bad on them? does the whole tranny need to be replaced usually? how much does it typically cost to fix?

well thats good, alot of 3.0 guys here trannies are shot to shit. and the TL-CL autos as well as the Av6 transmissions suck as well. it all depends on what kind of driving the previous drver did. to be safe you should install a transmission cooler.
