Okay, so i was washing my car the other day and i realized that the chrome lip on my wheels was looking like something awful.. so i decided to change that and paint the lip white.. tell me what y'all think

 

Other than you need a drop real bad, looking nice. I was thinking about doing that to my Acura Rims (The Silver is fading away) Can't figure out color yet though...

haha yea, i know i,m dropping it real soon... i,m just getting the last few dollars together and it will be dropped

 

What were the method you used to paint your rims? All I know is Sanding, Paint, and Clear coat...After that I'm lost. IF I find out what colors I want to use, I'll start on them.

well what i did, i first did the prep, you know sanding, cleaning ect... first i took auto tap and i taped around the lip (center) then i soaked wet news paper and layed it it in the center to keep paint off the center as mush as possible, now came the real task haha is covering the tire haha, i soaked stripped of new paper and i layed it over the top of the tired,(very time consuming.)then i primed it first then sprayed it white with duplicolor wheel paint... then waiting 2 hours just to make damn sure it was dry... then i cleared it with the dulicolor clear (wheel)

Yea. I'll post some up later. I didn't get close cause it was raining Haha. But yea I'm dropping it real soon then adding a front lip. But I'm just gathering the last few bucks up and I'm dropping it
