One Step Closer

Gonna tackle the install most likely this saturday with the help of a friend and my older bro

Any words of wisdom/advice on the install? I've read one of the bolts in the rear is a major bitch, and snaps on many occasions if not lubricated. I still need to figure out the exact one though.

It's the lower rear shock bolt. Spray penetrating oil on it every day up until the install. If the bolt comes out, the rest of the install is easy. Good luck.

It's the lower fork bolt that's the issue, lube it up good before hand

Only pic I took tonight off my phone.

I'll get some better ones tomorrow at some point. I'd sat it's dropped about 3.5" out back and like almost 3" up front. The back is tucking, and the front still has a little room. I haven't messed with the dampening or ride height other than what I guessed would look good for the night. It got dark, so I had to wrap it all up quick. Pic doesn't do it the justice, so I'll try n snap some better ones. It rides really well, and handles like a dream. I would highly recommend these D2's. Probably gonna get an alignment in a week or 2.

Still gotta get some spacers, and my lip. Hopefully within the month.

Thanks for lookin.

Looks awesome, you're sitting pretty much exactly where I was last at on the D2's. Glad you like them, they're definitely some good coilovers.

looks like his wheels is pretty tucked under the fender well to me. I measured my gap on my stock CL and its a little over 3" so it is probably close to 3.5" or at least it looks like it to me

I'd have to see a before pic with the rims, before the drop, I'll give him maybe 2.5" but 3.5" should have that tire tucking

Yeh, I've measured before as well. I'm runnin a 215/40 on my 18x8.5's and in the rear there was an ~3.5" gap between the fender and the tire, and the tire is tucking right now. Maybe the picture I shot wasn't too good. I'll see if i can get a better one. The front is probably more about 2.75"
