I got some rims for my legend, just thought i'd share



































They are Enkei Evo5 18x7.5 +45

what do you guys think?

yes i know they are dirty, they are used not new.

 

I'm always a fan of enkeis. Look like agranado's wheels, lookin sexy

 

nice pickup they go with the car well. I really like the last pic with the contrast cranked up - plus you almost can't tell you still haven't painted the fender

The car is getting painted Deep Matte black in the coming months.

The Eyelid is red b/c they are different eyelids, The black eyelid is a shitty stick-on, and the red is a gently used set of poly eyelids.

I can't wait for warmer weather to actually start driving her around again (on the track )

 

I'm also thinking of lowering her down a little more, we'll see, i have the day off tomorrow, maybe i'll fuck around with it

paint will come sooner then later, but you guys and needing cars to be painted and shit.

for starters its a race car, who cares about paint, go is ALWAYS first in my book.

you guys are really down my througt huh? don't like the eye lids, calling my car a bum. sheesh, i shouldnt even show you the interior then huh? you guys will probably be telling me i'm missing seats and door panels and pretty much everything else.

right now this car is all about the GO, it doesn't need to look all that pretty just needs to perform. its more "fixed up" then you guys realize.

low profile, alumn and has carbon fiber inserts on it, what more can a guy ask for?





much higher then my old jack would do, actually fits under my car, easy to work with.


brakes are tiny, i'm waiting for a guy on our forum working on making a nice set of BBK using G2 Acura RL caliper's. THen my CL will get the TypeII caliper upgrade

 

ha that jack is nutz. I am eventually going to be in the market for a low pro jack, I'm assuming that one ran more than 80 dollar blue one at the hardware store right?

Plus I actually think the red eyelid is kinda neat...it makes the car look pissed in the second pic lol

Nice wheels, looks like some break dust a buildin' on there. Of course there is the well documented 3.5 build, but have you ever seriously contemplated FI? I think the CR is pretty friendly and the mount should make it "easy".

yes, FI is one of my projects in the works as we speak.

as for the 3.5 from a G1 RL, there is a guy on the forums who has a 3.5/3.2(heads) hybrid whose car was featured in honda tuning but as far as 3.5 swaps, there are a lot of ppl on the forum with 3.5 straight up swaps. there is also a guy here locally, who helped with building my motor and I am friends with him, who has build a custom 3.5 engine using MDX pistons and custom cams and a few other things.

myself, i decided to stay with a 3.2 typeII motor b/c of the more robust valve train as it handles higher rpms better and is a little more higher revving
