My Custom Rear Lip
hey guys painted half of my car like the lip, skirts, bumpers , quarter panel, rolled the fenders and even fabbed up a rear lip. not the best looking rear lip but looks aggresive.

Nice work! Rear lip looks a little unequal to me from where the exhaust cuts in and seperates it, maybe a little more finessing it will make it look more equal. Def some good work though, glad to see u going all in w/the car.

Interesting take on the rear lip, definitely lacking in the center, but it looks better than no lip. Love the tinted tails and smoked front corners just like I have. With all the paint work, I was hoping you were gonna throw that TL wing on there though

glad to see your putting the time and effort into it. it looks appreciated. however not really feeling the rear lip.
but i am very glad you kept the OEM spoiler. i think it actually flows better with the rear lip.
P.S. Budweiser is a must when doing automotive work. lol surprised you're not drinking zyweic or lech. lol

props for ingenuity brutha....I was actually toying with that idea for awhile, but like your pics show, it takes a lot of fiberglass work to get rid of that 'step' deliniation in the layers
I think I'd like it a lot more if you could completely get rid of that 'step' and make the lower lip sweep across the middle as well

That abs sludge is great stuff. But man...from my experience, it's TERRIBLE for filling...and completely thins out if it's used in too thick of a section. Definitely looking forward to your plans for it...good luck sir

the complaint my kids had when I first got my CL was they didn't like the way the rear looked, nothing about it. To be honest I wasn't to keen on it either but it was what it was. I tinted the tail lights and added the spoiler on the trunk and added the wheels and now both kids that are old enough to drive wants the car and aint neither of them gettin it

I'm not a big fan of the rear without a spoiler either, but mine came with one from the factory
