Thanks! I already bought new springs and shocks/struts. Just waiting on my camber kit. The girl is my gf. She has a 99 3.0 CL also.....I'll post her pics soon.

 

i was almost positive that the red car was another cl.. you guys should get married for sure.. wihs my girl had a cl.. shes not cool enough tho.. lol.. what did you decide for suspension?

 

Here is her CL. We just bought it two weeks ago so it is still stock. Only 28k on it.

 

I don't know about the marriage thing. We are trying to keep our cars apart so we don't have any little pink CL's running around.

 

I bought some Goldline springs. They were the only ones I found for a 3.0 that lowered it 2.5". I also bought KYB shocks/struts. Like I said once my camber kit comes in I'm gettin it lowered.

 

2.5" is a good amount on these cars, be prepared to definately need to work on the camber. At that low, you also may have a hard time correcting it enough w/o ghetto rigging the suspension (just from my experiences)

 

looks good put a front body lip on it along with the drop and you will be set

 

jealous of the red one's rims. i want those '99 rims so bad!!

The wheels are actually Discount Tire's.....called Rage Enduro. I didn't want rims with 8 holes, only the 4 lug kind. They had em' and gave me a really good deal, so I got em'.

 

you and your g/f can do this together.. take the mud flaps off

I'm going to debadge mine. she likes her Gold package....What's wrong with the mud flaps? I heard someone else flaming another guy about them.

leave em on..they stop alot of mud from flyin up on your car..why take em off u can barely notice em

i just picked up a '97 red 2.2 CL. had 100k on it and payed a little over 6k for it. mind me asking how much you paid for yours toughguy?

 

12K for the red one.....28K miles on it....not a single ding or scratch on it.

Yes, it's factory. I think they only painted the 99's that color.
