Flat bronze ftw.

Before you Keep in mind i'm going to be blackhousing, painting my wheels this flat bronze, and debating on doing the chrome trim around the windows either black or flat bronze to match the wheels etc.

Whatcha think?

Do you think it would look good if I did the trim the same color as the grill? I can't really decide

Looks pretty good. I'd do the wheels next before painting anything else.

i dig the grill, that with bronze door trim, and amber upper and lower corners ftw

Blackhouse would look neat, but so would bronze headlight housings

I thought about that, there is a way i could do bronze an black in the headlights.

Black in the sides, depth-wise, and bronze on the tips closes to the lenses. Would be neat I think!

If this dude buys my rims for 800 like he said he was gonna, i'm thinkin coilovers (first and foremost) and then maybe some servos, since they are so cheap. I regret buying the stockers i have now... ah!

if its cost effective to do minor aesthetic mods, why not go for it? painting my grill was one of the cheapest and most drastic mods ive done to date.

Me neither... but if it doesn't look good, i'll just paint it black.

And dicorp, silence. As I said, i'm waiting for someone to buy my rims so I can get a drop. Nice try at constructive criticism though!

looking pretty good nate, the color is interesting, and i think it looks pretty good.
would look good on the trim, and headlights in that color would look different, dunno if it would be good or bad tho, i can't picture it
keep it up

What's funny is I just saw some bronze wrapping paper and thought of this thread (I only read the first post before now). Then I thought, "Hey, he should do a retro and do the shroud and all the same bronze as that grill and blackhouse the other shit. If he's not doing a retro, he could bronze where he would blackhouse, and then black out the reflectors, or vice versa."
Then I read this and see how you were already going in this direction. But I would suggest you don't do different colors on different sections on the housings. I would do a full color like everyone blackhouses, and then paint the reflector bowls the other color. I can't imagine light output would be so bad that it would be dangerous. Maybe shoot the bowls with some reflecting spray (like they have for license plates? this is just a thought) or at least high gloss paint and some acrylic lacquer. That would probably help output if you painted the bowls black. I'm assuming you wouldn't want to do high gloss bronze since you have flat bronze grill trim. But blackhousings with bronze bowls would probably look nice with your theme.

grille defiently looks good. Im getting reay to black out all the chrome around my windows so im hoping that turns out good because once it goes black theres no going back.. i thought about doing my grill kinda like yours because i also have bronze wheels but im gonna black out all the chrome in the grill then thinkin bout cutting it and modding it some. Then the next step will be black chroming my front and rear acura emblems..
