im actualy looking to sell my car its seen its days with me im looking to upgrade to a 5speed black on black cl she needs a transmission rebuilt and the tranny mount $2000 first taker

Here's an update on my CL. I was looking for a new daily driver and test drove a few cars including a couple Acura's like an '06 TSX and '03 CLS-6. Mechanically there's nothing wrong with my '97, so I decided to keep it. I don't want to deal with another car loan at this time, nor am I crazy about the depreciation of the luxury brands.

To stay interested in an old hobby, I picked up another motor. Hopefully I can have this swapped in the next couple of weeks. I still need to pick up a new clutch, timing belt, water pump and oil pump. First, I'll have to stop at Harbor Freight and buy an engine stand. My ghetto set-up should work until then.





God damn snow... I mean really? I moved south to get away from this stuff.

Yeah, I might buy a set of wheels pretty soon and get the side skirts and lips color matched. That's all I really have in store for this car.

Thanks, I really have no idea. They claim to have under 50k miles on all their motors, just like all those other engine importers will tell you. If it has under 100k, I'm happy. The F22 in it now has 201k.
