ill get a pic of what the black chrome looks like. so far i saw it on a lambo wheel and brembo brakes at his shop. holy sexy is all i got to say.
mattastick, he explained it to me like this: hes gonna use an airplane cleaner to strip the chrome off, then prime, paint it with special paint and then use a special clear over top of it. then stick it in a wheel spinner thing to keep the paint from dripping. but its 250 to refinish all of them. if i do this then the grill gets blacked out and so will the window chrome and maybe the entire interior too.
i busted the front lip on the way to jacksonville so no more lip
so im safe with the black chrome for now.

got a love/hate relationship with this thing through our long, arduous journey. Sometimes its tempermental, sometimes its just all out beastly. Currently its a little of both.

The skunk2 IM and TB are HUGE. They sit way farther back than the stock ones, milimeters away from my firewall. I also had to pinch the brake booster to make it fit. The intake pipe no longer fits because of how far back it sits and rubs in a number of places, so i gotta mix and match piping now to get one that fits. So filter on the TB is how it is for now.

Thats crazy, i would have though by the size of our engine bays that it would swallow the S2 parts with ease. Anyway, have you ever checked out that company call Spectre Performance? They sell DIY intake kits that come with piping, couplings and can be sent back to Spectre after you fit them for welding and powdercoating

it all comes down to personal preferences i guess. i have a love hate thing going on with it. probably will end up doing the outside trim part. but i do think it matches the rims and window trim for now. if i do the black chrome i will black EVERYTHING out. interior, grill, trunk, window trim, everything else is already done
*me walking away to take my obsessive compulsive pills*
