It does get pretty stiff if you ride with the system all the way up. You feel every, and i mean every, bump in the road. So you have to lower it a little, then its pretty smooth. There've been instances when i accidentally had it all the way up, hit something, and just cringed, thinking something broke cuz the whole car shook.

ERIC.. I told you... DO NOT RIDE ALL THE WAY UP!!!!!
There are many dangers to doing that... and its NOT fun!!!
1. you can snap your cylinder rod!!! This will send your car to the floor and never back up... Not a fun experience at any amount of speed!!!
2. You can bend the rods cause a difficulty on that wheel to move up and down...
3 and most common is that you can break the air seal in the piston of the cylinder... If you raise the car all the way up the cylinders lock alil... you might notice that it doesnt go down right away (alil hesitation).
I used to raise it up stationary and then drop it alil... then roll!!! JUST MY LIL ADVICE TO YOU!!! Im just trying to look out for you!

Damn, u guys are takin bets on me huh.......?? Well, im not planning on takin em off, i ll tell u that much, way too fun. Like i said, i learned really quick not to have em all the way up. The only thing that pisses me off is refilling air, thats it, other than that, its been great. Definently gets a lot of compliments and some serious head turning in traffic. But im' not gonna take em off though, i got a few more plans to my car, and an air ride is just a sweet addition. I'm letting you guys know now, when im' done, jaws are gonna be dropping on this forum!!! I still have a lot planned, but im not lettin anybody know, im' just gonna surprise you guys with it one day.

chris has 2 tanks i think so its not long right? how much for anice cylinder setup? i would love a air ride but i think a coilover setup is cheaper but customizable air ride and fully rocker system sounds tempting

2 3 gallon tanks, and 2 ViAir compressors. It doesn't take too long to fill up, but I would like it to be faster.
Oh, and I have 1/2" lines, with 1/2" valves. The exhaust vavles are tapered to 1/4" to slow them down, and the rear fill lines have about 2' of 1/4" to slow the lift (I was hoping the rear of the car off the ground).

You don't bag our cars, that is for vehicles that do not depend on the strut assembly for linearity.
The disadnatages of air ride is:
1) Where our tires faster
2) Poor roads can be rough (can't ride too low, you'll bottom out. Can't ride too high, you'll top out)
3) If something breaks (hose, compressor, cylinder), you aren't going anywhere

oops i meant air sorry
why does it wear out tires faster?
any way to fix this w/ camber kit or somethin like daT?
just wondering because 19's tires are expensive =| and if i would even consider getting air...i would want to be able to make my tires last as long as possible

I took my car into the shop today, part of the reason it was riding rough/stiff was that 2 of the screws came loose, and were rattling around like crazy. I got that fixed, and i also had a leak which i got fixed. Now that i finally figured out how to work it, its doin pretty good, the ride is a lot better.

No real engine mods yet.......just cai w/ bypass, thats it. I was gonna do a lot more to it, but hey, lets face the facts, it aint gonna be fast. Eventually i ll have an H22 with a lil boost, but for now, i'm all about lookin good goin slow.
