Almost. It's running on the OBD2 ECU without a CEL, but needs a jumper harness so I can dyno tune it with my chipped p72.
Oh, I meant to ask you, did you keep your cruise control with the H23V swap? Looks like I need to live without it, or reuse the smaller CL throttle body.

i didn't but was looking at it. I think you could always swap the rotor ( or rotating) portion of the F series throttle body over to the H23 TB. Should be easy enough. Plus I don't drive my car enough to justify having cruise control.
Literally, I've got the same tank of gas since December. Swapped the engine in at 69,9xx and i currently have 70,1xx. I need to drive more.

I was going also going to ask you if you had any dyno number or 1/4 times, but it doesn't sound like it. Sounds like you need a bottle of fuel stabilizer for all that old gas.

Thanx man. These wheels are actually the black one's i had last year. Just got bored and painted them. They came out ok as this was just a test to see how they would work. I'll probably have them stripped and powder coated the same color over the cold season.

Car looks good btw! I like the red wheels and of course the H23a. You running the F23 tranny still? You def need to drive it more, beat on it some so you can keep the engine free from buildup, or at least that's my excuse for beating on mine lol.

Yeah that was with no tune too lol. All i have is a basic basemap from Phearable.net and bolt ons and it made those numbers, not bad right? Can't wait for the new #'s after the rebuild though

and yeah, i'm stil running the F23 trans. For now anyways. It's not all that bad, but a T2T4 or the even rarer T2W4 would be very nice.
With my VTEC set at 4500, if i rev the piss out of first, i can catch second gear right on the 4500 mark and it will stay in through 4th. Not bad for gas millage and daily driving though.

Na i didn't use any template online. My buddy does body work for a living and we made the template. When the template was done we just eyed it up and went with it. Then took measurements for the other side. Technically they should be a tad lower if i was going for OEM JDM Accord placement. But it's a Acura CL so i made up the location.

I don't quite know yet. As it sits right now
- H23A Blue Top
- RS*R Header-back exhaust
- Megan 4 - 1 header
- Stock H22 intake arm w/ filter
I did pop the valve cover off and my H has the blue tinted cam shafts which is a good thing. Same specs as the JDM Accord Type R cams I believe.
Is it the fastest car, by all means, no. But it's a great upgrade from the stock F23.
Being a 31yo husband & father , going too fast isn't all that important to me anymore. I'm just glad i can still have a nice car to enjoy myself in and not have to drive a family van or some shit.
We have a 2008 CRV LX, that's as "family" as our vehicles will get. But even the CRV is tinted out, system and a TV for the kid. I have the need to mod everything. My wife hates that about me. I'm never satisfied with a stock, boring vehicle
