Carbon + Woodgrain = mmmmmmmmm

Continuing on with the carbon fiber and black theme, I finally got my woodgrain wrapped in carbon fiber, they came out pretty damn good, only a couple minor perfections, but I LOVE them. Only one other member on here wrapped their woodgrain in real CF, but he only wrapped it with the fabric, these were molded to the woodgrain pieces with resin, sanded, cleared and polished, cost me a pretty penny, but very worth it, and 1 of a kind Enjoy bishes

The process

Finished product

Hell no, I don't possess the skills to make them look this good, these were professionally done on the other side of the country for a nice chunk of money

Sick mann and real clean! Also, on this subject, know where to find the wood piece for the pasanger side? Broke mine changing the window regulator. Also the square piece that covers the stereo and storange compartment. That was cracked when my tv was stolen.

Installed pics!

Took me most of the night to swap these, since I had to remove the satin black painted set (I have 2 sets of woodgrain, the painted set and the CF set) the longest part was the door panels, doing them by yourself is more of a pain than with someone on each side of the door. I also did a couple other small tasks while I was working on the car including running new LED bars for the front, and taking the CL for a drive around the neighborhood. Now on to the pics

Dash piece screwed into the LED retro'd climate control, and all mounted back in.

Test fit and my beer

Passenger side door panel installed

Right side done

Now the guage trim matches and flows around the car instead of being by itself with painted wg around it

Stopped here to do some LED bar rewiring and installation

Driver's door always takes the longest and is a giant pain

Left side done, had to be careful removing the vent because it's painted, but it came out pretty damn easy

Lemme know what you guys think

it makes your interior look very blueish lol

original for sure, and glad you actually took the time to have them done right instead o wrapping them in cf cloth

A lot of that is the flash too, the interior looks more gray in person, but it does have a blue tint to it, the CF really matches the satin black painted parts though

I will have plenty of those once I get the interior back together, sheesh tough crowd

These pieces have 10 layers of clear coat, and then were polished so yeah they're gonna reflect the flash
