does anyone have a link to a thread with pictures of the "candy magenta" CL from a couple years ago? ive read a couple posts about it but cant find the thread. I only ask because the guy that built the car is a good friend of mine and id really like to make fun of him, if you guys have any info or pics it would be great.

i agree, the pattern looks good. definetly makes it unique..
itd be cool if i could two tone my interior.. like graphite/black. although i do like my wood trim. maybe overlay it with some black like the person in the pink did with the trim.

CL in lawnmower status
looks pretty damn IMO
the interior has too many tones in it, the stock tan and gray, plus the pink, plus the LV. and then to top it off, the dirty carpets
but they did do nice work with the woodgrain, anyone know how they just made it look like pink woodgrain? sprayed only a little pink spraypaint on maybe?

Not boost guages, one looks like a battery meter, the other one i think is a A/F guage
The best part about this car is it was made pink by a guy, that just kills me. A girl bought it, joined here, and then the motor blew up Wish I could find more pics, I know they were on cardomain, I think I'm still friends with the chick on myspace

LMAO, that was great guys, thank you all for your research thats exactly what i was looking for.
shitty day at work today and this really cheered me up, the funny thing is my boy is 6'3" like 240lb driving around a pink coupe. you do have to give the build credit tho, alot of work went into that car. if it would have been blue or something i think it would have been hot.
ill ask him how he tinted the wood and ill get back to you.

it didnt blow up, it was originally from florida or some crap. she lived in wisconsin and they had 100% water in the coolant system so as soon as it went below freezing... snap crackle pop...

Nobody reads the damn threads anymore, it was a guy that did that to the CL. It was then repo'd and sold on ebay to a chick, who joined here and it was quickly destroyed by having no coolant in the rad
