I guess ok for a 120 dollar cam. Choppy as fux in some places, but that's how it goes. 25mm front spacers were taken off because I stripped a stud. fml
Will do some good highway rolling shots when the weather is nicer. Thanks for voyeuring.

So dope. You live out near Gresham or more Portland area? Looks a lot like this park I've driven by near there. Always lookin fresh though. Always loved that stance. Your editing FX were pretty nice too. Keep doin it big

thanks a bunch for the comments guys! I'm actually not pleased with how the vid turned out....needed better footage and a lot of choppy segments from my fail editing software and dual core setup. Car has seen better days...to say the least. All 4 fender lips are exhibiting some degree of wavyness from rolling/pulling....but I don't even let that phase me anymore. It is what it is I guess. I fixed the drivers stripped stud today and put on 35 mm spacers up front...it's uh...aggressive to say the least lol. Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm going to ride on it for awhile tucked and see how it does on my fenders since I'm going to get new ones painted this summer. Still have yet to paint the sideskirts or rear lip. Gahhhh so lazy
kyanite: out near portland area bruh
asian: no doubt man for sure we can get together
to the rest of you, thanks a bunch for the love, really appreciate it...this forum has helped me out so much, credit goes to ya'll
one last thing....I'm semi-debating...since my paint is still very good on my fender lips....has anyone ever *gasp* bought those chrome ebay messican fender trim? I was thinking...perhaps getting those instead...for like 60 bucks...and having them color painted to match the car....to cover up the damage...MUCH cheaper than getting 2 new front fenders and having the rear quarters filled and resprayed...what do you guys think?

^yessir, you are correct thread here https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-1997-1999-56/houston-we-have-no-rust-lol-746657/
pictured here
i don't mind them on black as from the side they blend in quite well, might have to do this to mine...but to cover up rust

Awesome vid. Just need to get a shot of the car on the highway. BTW, what coils are you on?

That's an option or maybe find someone who rubs out door dings to fix the waves. Those guys can do some pretty incredible things. I once had two creases about an inch apart in my passenger side door. They were able to smooth them out completely. It looked good as new minus the scuffs in the paint. They charge something like $60 a panel, but that might be a little cheaper than buying the trim and having it painted. That's if you don't have to do more than 2 panels.

omg thank you guys so much for finding a pic of the actual trim! I'm kinda bummed, its a lot more thicker than I would have expected fuuuuuuuuu....was hoping for something that JUST covered up the fender lips but those chrome trims are MONSTER. Wondering how much better they'd look professionally painted with clearcoat...
Blazin, yeah dude I don't know...I think paintless dent removal will be really tough especially since this is on metal fenders and on an edge....thanks for the suggestion though I'm going to take it around tomorrow and see if there's any hope for SOME kind of improvement...I'd like to stay away from any kind of aftermarket trim if possible since the paint is still in good shape
I fixed the stud issue up front and got my final fitment down with the 35mm spacers...just driving it around to make sure it doesnt mess up the fenders...I really cant go up inclines, kind of sucks lol
project: rims are 18x8 +32 and 18x9 +37 but after spacers the current specs are
18x8 -3 and 18x9 +2 (or alternatively 18x10 +37)
dragon haha nah man they're staying chrome...I'm going to do a tsx all chrome retro this summer with e46 shrouds...trying to keep it classy dude
thanks again for all the feedback guys!

hahaha man I appreciate it, but honestly my car is nowhere near worth yet. I still have yet to paint the skirts and rear lip and also get rid of the fender imperfections

is that the fitment that is pictured or is the pictures without spacers?
and 18x9 +2 would be the same outer position(fender clearance) as 18x10 +15, don't know where you got the +37 from
and from your previous thread where you tried 18x9 +7 and it had quite a bit of poke, i thought it would be impossible... i guess i'm just getting confused now
and chrome retro is the way to go, looks alot cleaner/OEM IMO

very much appreciated, seriously
I think I will take you up on that offer very soon...I'm going to get my skirts and rear lip painted next week and will install them by the end of the month. I will also try to see if some pdr's can take out majority of the fender creasing (from improper rolling/pulling techniques)...and by then I should be just about done with the car appearance wise. I will definitely get back to you on that man, thanks!

mitch, good catch I'm sorry 18x9 +15..typo, +25 spacers out back and 35 up front...so yes you are correct
the rear looks like I have more room now because I pulled the fenders out a good 3 to 4 mm...hard to tell by the pics but that's where the wavyness comes from
When the weather clears up I'll have her waxed up so you can see the real damage

kk, just making sure, but your car looks sick, makes me wanna throw some VIP wheels on mine and just cruise it instead
we'll see, if i find any good deals on some nice wheels (18's, wide, either mesh or big face) and the wrx sells, i might just keep the cl, and ride it as low as possible
keep us updated flip, would be good to see some more pics up close, can't really tell any wavyness in these pics
how much camber are you running right now btw?
if you have an approximate that would be fine
cuz the front's don't look like a lot of negative camber, but the rears seem to have a lot more
