You don't have to do anything special with the fronts, you just need top hats from your stock suspension. I'd either go for the tein basics, or the F&F's

yeah i was thinking f&f too...the price is right..lol....

air suspension was my ideal. being able to lift when i need to...but after talking to many people that have air in their rides, they all say that the ride is pretty sh*tty...but they all have american cars or euros..

anyway...

so my car kinda hiccuped the other week. i have remote start on my car...i was out running errands and after running my first errand i get out of the store and try to start my car from the remote. started fine..then it died...kinda weird..ive never had that happen to me before..i had a full tank of gas and have recently changed the oil, flushed transmission fluid..you know..kind of your regular maintenance. so i get in my car and start it up....it dropped below 1000 rpm and died again...i had to give it some gas to be able to stay on...if i let go of the gas it would just die. so i gave it enough gas to stay above 2000 rpm so i can put it in to reverse and not die. after i got it into reverse it would run fine..im pretty sure the oil, transmission fluid, and gas had nothing to do with it but i got kinda scared cause its never happened to me before...any thoughts on what it might be?...im always good at warming up my car in the morning and trying to do all the regular maintenance...its kinda weird...

okay so im having a hell of a time finding rims. our bolt pattern isnt very popular is it. haha..i mean it is ..but for the rims that im finding that i like, theyre all in 4x100 or in a 5 lug pattern. ive searched the boards and chris i know you had an adapter custom made?...hows that working?

anyway so i went ebay to search for adapters and such. i found a 4x100 to 4x114.3 adapter...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4x100-4x4-5-...061#vi-content

this would work right? if i wanted to change my bolt pattern to 4x100?...id need to get 4 of these?...

and since it looks like this is sort of like a spacer, how would that work as far as the offset of the rims im looking for?...currently (i just saw pictures of my car as it sits now) im tucking pretty good on all four..

usually people go up in lugs, not smaller in diameter. unless the rims you are looking for are one of a kind, ultra rare ones. Besides that 4x100 rims are usually 16"s

Other than that imo, i don't trust spacers as i have seen what happen when not torqued in correctly.

yeah i figured about the rim size that come with 4x100....and plus, according to cocoa in the thread that came up in the search, conversions are pricey. man...our bolt pattern is so limiting. there are so many dope ass rims that come in a 5 AND ONLY 5..lol...bout to just make me some rims out of wood or something...

Yes, the odyssey conversion is expensive and time consuming. There are good rims for 4x114 but just hard to find. are you trying to get into the real rim game or knock offs?

awww pare it really doesnt matter to me..knock offs or real rims..lol...im not picky. i mean my rims on there now are knocks. ive been lookin on craigs or ebay..even amazon...or just your general google search. found some koo ones on ebay. but not in the price range. not lookin for anything too pricey..cause to be honest im really particular about the tires. and if i spend hella on the rim, im kinda limited on my tires (i gotta do all the maintenance stuff still..planning to change the alternator, timing belt with water pump and thermo. gotta respray, etc etc)...

any suggestions on websites and what not?...my budget for rims is about 7 for the set without tire.

For that price tag I'd suggest rota wheels, they should run around the $500 range and make replicas of basically every popular wheel.

S13's came in that 4x114.3 bolt pattern, so there are definitely plenty of choices available. What I learned from experience, is you simply have to go to the manufacturer's websites for the wheel in a 4x114.3 bolt pattern you prefer. Ebay is a horrible place to go for wheels in that pattern because it just doesnt sell as frequently.

i agree about ebay as well, but for the link i gave you. i have bought from him before and had no problems at all. if you do go with a different brand then yea i would follow what cocoa is saying.

Those adapters are 1" thick (if I'm reading their add correctly), so your hub would effectively sit 1" (25.4mm) closer to the fender. Which means you would have to add that from your typical offset to get to where you actually want to be (my knowledge of wheels and offsets is limited, but I believe the last statement to be correct, if I'm wrong someone please correct me).

Ex. If you wanted a +10 offset wheel without the spacer, you would want a +35 offset wheel with the spacer.
