OEM fogs no more
$50 black projector fogs
$125 in fog light bulbs rejected,
$2 ebay 100w blue/white bulbs winning out over 3 other sets of bulbs including generic hungarian white/blue bulbs, piaa xtreme whites and silverstars, priceless
Silverstar on right, $2 ebay bulb on left, enough of a difference to make me happy.
Ebay on right, silverstar on left (i know i'm nuts, i have problems)
Took Azn_TLx's advice and bought "6000K" ebay bulbs and they match closer enough to where I won't stress on them, next lighting mod after the white led corners (4th set of frickin corners) will be 4300k projector bulbs after the 6000k kick, but that won't be for a long time.
Also, since I'm still moving in, buddy and I took some time to setup and run wires and lights to my workbench. It's a sturdyass table I inherited when I bought the house, took about 3 hours to wire all the lights and crap up, not shown in pic
These are all the engine mods pending so far, exhaust parts are on the shelf below.
Cheers bitches

Busy weekend... Yesterday spent 5 hours detailing the interior of my 4runner. It hadn't been vaccuumed in like a year. There was a ridiculous amount of dog hair in it, since I spent all last summer moving, there was no point to clean it. Ended up waiting till it got nice this spring b4 I was done moving my stuff and helping a friend move. Cleaned every inch of the truck and shampooed the carpets and such. Cleaned the dash and seats as well, after using all my spiffy new vaccuum attachments. Also cleaned all the interior pieces and then followed up with mequiars quick detailing for all the interior pieces.
Today did most of the same to the ack, vaccuumed the interior for a good 2 hours I'd say, some remnant dog hair in there from back in the day that needed to go. Got further under the seats than I ever have b4 since I got craftsman detailer attachments to go with my shopvac. After vaccuuming the carpets, seats, dash and floors, cleaned and then conditioned the leather with Poorboys leather stuff.

Installed my new ebrake boot and handle, as well as my new shifter. Also cleaned my pedals, and removed more plastic interior trim pieces to be painted. Probably gonna wait till after i come back from vaca b4 i paint more pieces, but getting them together. Test fitted my 2nd gen battery box, and bought a deep cycle charger to recharge my optima yellow top that was drained from all the starting/stopping lately and playing with the hids. More fun projects on the way this week. I'll take some pics after I finish shampooing the headliner and carpets and put the new floormats in and such.

Yeah, i'm making my way through all the meg products and I'm loving them, good quality stuff for sure. Poor boys is amazing, got it for $5 flat from a vendor on here. Gonna apply another layer, just did the cleaning step first, gonna apply another layer for conditioning, but it really restores the leather to like new, it's incredible stuff. No pics of that stuff yet, I'll have some up in a few days after I do another leather treatment and shampoo the carpets and headliner.

Washed the windows with invisible glass (inside) vaccuumed up more loose dog hair. Threw the stock beat ass floor mat in the driver's side to drive to work today cuz I didn't clean my rubber floor mats yet. So here's a couple quick pics of the interior.Clean ass interior car seats cleaned and vaccuummed entire interior cleaned and detailed. You can see the beat ass stock floormat that lasted a week.
You would not have believed the dog hair I pulled off these seats and carpet.
But hey you asked for pics of the detail, hope it inspires you, it's all I've been doing for almost a week now. Back to the CL next

Cleaned the floormats with hot water and then Meguiars shop heavy cleaning wipes. Then shined them up with Meguiars endurance tire shine and made em look like new. Minus the worn hole in my year old floormats. But they look brandy new no matter what. Before and after
Almost new rear mats look newer than new

I wish it was flawless, especially the bumper is hurtin and gettin replaced soon as I get my stimulus check, and after I finish my interior work I'm gonna do some SERIOUS paint restoration with a claybar, some medium cut compound, a porter cable, and some sexy polishes, then I'll be happy, gotta hold off on the paint job till next year.
Chris, my progress is slowed to a halt right now, waitin to get back into it very soon.

Just got my stimulus check, coilovers and bumper being ordered tomorrow. Also getting the ack inspected for myself for my bday first week of july. Hoping to enjoy some summer with my ack before I rip her apart again, gotta rewire one of the ballast plugs and put the rest of the interior back in. Oh and threw my other set of HID's in the 4runner had been without since october or so.

e-brake and shifter.... ouch...
the last things that I'd want to NOT be OEM are the e-brake and shifter.
keep it up though -
I'm expecting some freshness - - with all of these h22 threads and f or k series whatever
people are doing - we need another great 3.0 litre ya know?
