98' Acura CL (new owner)
So, after years of wanting one but always buying something else, i found a great deal on a 98' white cl at the local acura dealer. It's the wifes daily driver but i plan on doing a lil bit of modding to it while it's around. In the past i've owned two integras and prelude sh.
So far:
I have cleaned and clayed all of the outside paint, including filling paint chips. flat blacked out the front grill and flat whited the acura emblem. I blacked out the front parking lights and matched with flat black lower front grill. I just had the rear lights blacked out and pulled off the rear emblems and flat blacked them.
I'm looking for a set of rims and would like to start buying headers and intake but seem to have problems finding most parts. Any suggestions on engine parts and accessories???
A few early pics, enjoy:
I know, it's needs a DROP so bad. But it's her daily and i can't go very low if i want to keep her happy.
This is my daily:

Welcome, that's a nice lookin miata and CL. I'm not a fan of the vinyl on the windshield, but I like what you're doing with the car. Your CL shares engines with 98-02 4 cyl accords, so any accord 2.3 intake or headers will work. Check out this guide for some more info

blackack isn't it 94-97? lol I thought the v6 was with 98-02 hmm
Hey dude and welcome! aha I have tein s-techs and they're perfect for me. They won't close up all the gap but it closes up a good amount. Engine wise, I wouldn't bother not worth it unless you boost.

CL in lawnmower status
cl and miata look good
the flat black emblems look sick, but i dunno if i prefer that over no emblems.
and i agree with chris, that vinyl on the windshield
other than that keep up the good work

The headers for the 2.2 and 2.3 are different, the holes line up differently from what I remember, 94-97 accord is suspension for all cars. I'm sure a 94-97 2.2 accord intake works, but not sure about the headers, I remember that being different, of course I have a 3.0

Both cars look good, I'd blackhouse the headlights to complete the look all around. And at least throw some prokit springs on there, it'll still ride like stock and look better than it does now.

Yeah, i did the windshield brow cus my buddy owns a vinyl shop and he did it for free. I had a brow on my 98' Prelude SH, i thought it looked real good on there example:
But i agree with y'all, i'm not liking it on the Cl and will probably pull it off today.
As for the Miata, it's an 05' Mazdaspeed turbo with goobs of upgrades and add-ons. Fastest car i've ever owned, never drag striped it but it did dyno at 201hp @ the wheel on pump gas. Included is a few more pics of the miata and others i've owned.
My 98' Integra GSR Supersonic Blue
My 98' Prelude type SH
And last but not least my 98' Diamondback Joker, (jk) i dont remember what year i bought it.

Actually i was going to buy a S2000 (go figure) But the price difference and the fact that the miata came with a turbo sold me on it. ON top of the fact i got a smoking deal on it, my friend had it before me. He was supposed to make it a track car but the wife got tired of his shit. lol.
