I have a 1997 cl 2.2 automatic and running the stock f22 motor in it. Recently had transmission problems but had trouble finding a f22 tranny in good shape wit low miles. I ended up getting a jdm h22 transmission.

Runs and shifts good but get some hard shifts. I need to look at the kick down cable and idle air and adjuect.

Question is should i be running a h22 tcu with this setup?

 

I am not 100% positive but I think there is a computer that controls the transmissions in the CL. I have never messed with computer cars or imports at all so i am not 100% sure on this answer
