Did this over the summer....

Hey Guys,

i saw this on HAN and did it over the summer....improves light output and smooths all thescratches out of the headlight lens....

do it ....do it now......

but i just bought some megiuers Back To Black polish for exterior trims, supposedly it makes the skirts/trim look brand new

im just waiting for the weather to get a bit better

i can't post up my bumper lens somethings wrong with imageshack?. anyways i had to polish the lens twice cause of the sanding. i'll end up doing my tails later. peace

damn yo that shit looks fresh. if i didnt have brand new headlights id use that stuff. but its good to know its there and alot cheaper to do than the professional remasking of the headlight. ~150$ a light

went to both strauss auto and advance auto and they didnt have this product..wtf? anywhere else i could try or should i just get it off the internet

They sell the Meguairs Brand at Autozone. Though, I bought the Mothers Plastic Polish on ebay for a few bucks.

no sanding will leave the deeper pits pitted -- btw, i subbed 3m fine cut rubbing compound for the plastic polish when i did my headlights (followed up with swirl remover just cuz i had it around) -worked great.

i bought some blue magic plastic polish yesterday and i swear i was at it for like 3 hours and the shit looked the same. do i have to sand it? if so, wet or dry...then follow up with the plastic polish like in the thread makers link. ?

oh yeah im doing this on my headlights
