so i bought a new muffler for my 97 cl 2.2 and when i checked online it said the stock exhaust is 2 1/4 in but i went out and got an adaptor to connect it to my new muffler and its way to big to weld the two together. so how big is the stock exhaust tubing?

 

im thinkin 1 3/4 but im not sure

 

stock 2.2 exhaust is 2" stock 3.0 is 2.25"
