I finished a automotive mechanics stage at an acura dealer a month ago. There was a body shop in our dealer, and i had a chance to talk to the paint guy there. He said that prime-rose is one of the hardest colors he had to work with, something about the metallic flakes and the transparency of the paint. Not only the painting has to be perfect, the priming and finishing has to be flawless because everything will show.

Like blackack said he will just have to blend the color out into the adjacent panels and clear coat them to help the color match. Most paint stores will have a color "eye" camera type thing that will find the closest variation to match whats on your car. If your friend really wants to take the time and to go through the steps you can spray test panels of the color you get then tint it to help match.
