Yet Another Foglight Question

I did a search on this, I just can't find the answer that I'm looking for.

I've read that all CL's come prewired for factory fogs. I have the factory switch, but I want to get PIAA's. So can I use the wires that are already there for the piaa's, or do I have to run new wires to the factory switch? If I can use the existing wires, how exactly can I splice the wires for the piaa's? I've found some instructions on here on how to wire in the factory fogs, but I need to know how to wire up those piaa's.

Thanks!

You would still need the factory fog light wiring harness that extends to the area were the fog lights would be mounted. Then, you'd have to actually cut off the connectors of the factory fog light wiring harness and hardwire the piaa's directly to that.

I'm not even sure if it will work though.

yes it will work as long as the wires are there and then before you hook them up you need to turn the switch on and get a test light and sure you hook up the right wires to the fog light. piaa's have a blk and white wire and the white is pos+ and black is neg-
