A Year Old! :)
A Year Old! :)
This weekend marks one year that I've had my "baby".
I've driven her about 1000 miles this week, and finally had a chance to really test out my mods.
I just got back from North Carolina (I'm from north of DC), and drove 6 hours in pouring rain! The CAI worked perfectly (NO water monsters trying to push 6 gallons of water in my engine)!
The Eibach Pro-Kit and KYB AGX combination works like a dream! I felt a little bad for my daughter (who was riding in the back in her car seat). I had the AGX settings on 4 (front) and 8 (rear) which is the stiffest setting. She bounced up and down a bit, but seemed unphased about it all. The car's handling was impressive! I can't wait to get some good tread on her (the car, not my daughter)! :P
The CD changer came in very handy. Having 7 CDs at my disposal really helpfu! The sound system sounds fantastic, and helped keep me company as my daughter slept.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the car's performance. I "played" with a new VW Golf[?] (1.8 Liter Turbo) between 70 and 115 mph, and had no problem pulling on him [I remembered that my daughter was in the back, and let off of the gas at 115.]
Mods I expect to put on in the next 6 to 8 weeks include 18's and new tires, WW Front Air Dam, and a Zex Kit (along with obligatory tranny cooler). Otherwise, I'm just going to enjoy what I've done to this point!
