WTH is wrong with my audio

i posted in A/V forum but got no responses and this crap is buggin me liek crazy. well i got a this cheap kenwood deck 50x4 that i installed. 6x9 sony Xplods, and stockers up front. no amp. well when i turn up the volume on the deck, it goes up to a certain point then it cuts off, it like turns off and dies. the point where it turns off is different for everysong, but the thing is, is that if i turn on my headlights i can turn up the volume a little bit higher before it cuts off.

anyone got any ideas why is does this? i already checked the grounds. bypassed the amp from the instructions i got on here.

dont use the ground wire from the harness ground the radio using the black wire from the back of the radio to the frame.. also check your fuse size on the radio and the fuse box
