WTF!?! $1,200 For A New Hood!?!?! WHAT!?!

WHOA!!!! Its that right!?!! I was quoted $1,200 for a new hood!!!?? They said like $450 new from Acura, plus 8 hrs paint time and labor...everything ran to about $1,000 - $1,200.....IS THAT RIGHT!?! CRAP!! There’s nooo way I’m paying that! My hood barely got damaged in the wreck! The bottom of the hood (where the grill fits in...the grill doesn’t fit anymore) just got bent and they say i have to get a whole new hood! ...This is crap...

Anyone know if Luckyax2's CF hood is still for sale? If it is, I CALL DIBS!! I need a new hood cuz I’m not spending the $1,200!! I call the CF hood if its still for sale...

Heres picts of the *Bent Hood*....this is crap....I wish there was some way they could fix it enough that the grill could still fit...

:angry:This Is Shit!...and if i go though insurance, with me being 18, my rates are gonna go waayyy up! ahhH!!!

buy the hood from acura urself and then find a shop that will do the work on the side for cash. you should be able to get it done for $200-300 tops. i got my hood, both bumpers, trunk, wing, and side skirts painted for $500.
