i drive a 98 acura cl 3.0 and i bought coilovers a few weeks ago i did research and i got megan racing for the 98 accord and everywhere i searched it said they fit my cl but now i hear 97accord is 1st gen nd 98+ is 2nd gen to late to return them also i already installed the fronts my replacing the hats on them to fit but the rears do line up thats basically when i figured they were the wrong ones ...anything i can do? like farbication? custom work??

 

Return them and buy the correct ones. That would be the best and cheapest course of action to take. The noob guide for this site clearly states that 94-97 accord parts fit so i don't know where exactly you were searching, but it was the wrong place lol.

 

If you can't return them, just sell them to a 6th gen accord owner and get a set that fits your car.
