So, my friend got in a wreck...for the second time in 6 mos. He has an '05 Scion Tc and I know nothing about where to buy parts and whatnot. He hydroplaned off a 10 foot hill and every panel of his car is meesed up except for the trunk and rear bumper. Can you guys PLEASE help me out with finding stuff for him. I don't even know where to start.

well here is not a good place. better luck trying in the "off-topic" area since its "not a 1st gen" and second start at a Scion forum. And if this is his second wreck in 6 months....he needs to take driving lessions.

finding parts for the Tc isnt going to be as easy as most cars. Too new of a vehicle. He's probably gonna have to find another wrecked Tc (good luck) or go for, ouch, OEM replacements from Scion. Good luck.
He wants, of course, to get parts as cheap as possible. But yah, his car is really new and if he gets parts direct from Toyota it'll be really expensive. We found a guy who'll put everything on really cheap but he still needs the parts. He doesn't want to claim it on his insurance because he's already paying out the ass for it.

i feel really sorry for the next person to own that car if he fixes it completely and ends up selling it
Itll never drive the way it was before the accident. That being said, id def do a junkyard search before i getting raped by toyota for OEM parts
