So on sat.. i was in a vons parking lot and my friend decides to speed right into me.

Now today i call his insurance company file a claim, and file a claim on mine as well..
Both Companys are denying our claims.
He says its 50/50 i do to.. but not the insurance.
SO IM FUCKED. if i dont get liability from him..

We both only have liability not full converage

IM SCREWED.

really, thats not nearly as bad as it looks. fenders and doors are easily replaceable. be glad he didnt hit the quarter panel any worse then he did.

it will prolly cost more to get it painted than it will to go to a junkyard and grab all the parts off a wrecked CL and fix the minor damage on the quarter yourself.

EDIT: now that i look at it, if you ever wanted to repaint your entire car, now would be the time to do it. theyr already gonna have to do that one fender, the rear quarter and the door. then wetsand almost all of the rest of the car so theyr able to blend it, i would look into a complete respray so theres no difference in color. but thats just me

 

The most trouble he will have is trying to find one that didnt have any front end damage... Considering most cars in junk yards are front end collisions. Then again he may be lucky!

naw i didnt.. i called the police said it was a hit and run.. but fled the scene.. some guy told me to claim it as that... my friend was waisted so i didnt want the cops to give him a dui... but now i kind of regret not calling the cops.. i would have gotten my car fixed.

You would be doing HIM a FAVOR by not calling the Cops on him. You are helping him out by asking him to pay out of his pocket instead of going through insurance, and getting busted with a dui. The end result, someone hit you.... friend or not, someones gonna fix it and it should be the person who was drunk and hit your car.

id say call the cops for sure on this one...but u didnt call them at the time of the accident which is what ur supposed to do every single time u get in an accident, and so the cops are gonna question youre entire situation for that and most likely not help u

 

dude. liability means that if you hit somebody then they are covered. if you get hit then ure not covered!
