Sure. Just cut the cardboard to the shape you want to cover, then you pull it out of the trunk and you can trace it onto the board that will support your nice flooring. Grab yourself a jig saw and cut right on the line, and you should be good.

that's what we used to use when building custom enclosures for customers. Cut out the the shape in cardboard then once you had it the way you wanted it use that as a pattern for the MDF

Alright I'll post pics when I do it I just got cardboard from my work so Ima try n do it tomorrow
