Well, just went outside and did some comparison measurements between my 96 accord and my 97 cl. Identical. If you have a 98-99 CL, see if the base of your dead pedal to the first lump (where the driver seat bolts to the floor) is about 24". Also, side of the center console to the edge of the carpet on the door sill was about 23". And in the back, from the floor to the top of the carpet below the lower seat in the rear, was about 6.5".

I've looked into this a bit before as well. My evaluation was that it would fit, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I didn't go through with it. It would be nice to have 100% certainty.

This is my 97 CL vs 96 Accord coupe. If the CL wasn't in leather you wouldn't notice the difference. All of the slits and holes are almost exact. The only difference I found was the slightly different cuts by the pedals. The accord one would otherwise be identical. I had cut the flap of carpet that goes behind the HVAC box in the accord which is why it looks a little different.
I'd assume for a 98-99 CL that a 98-02 accord coupe carpet would be your match. You can see the seat mounts match up here from where I took off the trim. You'll have to find someone with a 98-02 accord to get pictures and compare.

Awesome! Has anyone bought aftermarket carpet that they were happy with? In looking around at carpets, I've seen complaints about crappy fit and quality.
I am hoping to avoid going OEM just because of cost.

I just ordered some samples from the OP's original site mentioned. Should have them in about 8 days and I will take comparison pics. My stock carpet is rather old and has seen better days. Would be great to drop in new carpet the same time I dynamat the floors.

Yeah I didn't order a black sample, just a few of the grays just to get a good comparison between the pile and quality to our oem carpets. I am unsure if I would go black with my grey leather.

So I realized tonight I totally neglected to finish this thread since I was distracted buying a TL. Anyways, I did get the samples in a while back when I had my CL and took some pics
Here is my card with the colors I picked out to try.
The colors on the left and right were the closest match to my gray. However the sample furthest to the right had the best quality feel.
Here you can see the comparison of thickness of the carpet base compared to stock, pretty close. The aftermarket stuff feels a little more flexible.
And you can see here that 857 is very close to the same color and pile type. I noticed the 4666 was more nappy and interwoven.
And one more larger pic comparing the base material of the carpet.
Given the large amount of colors you can choose on the site, I am sure the basic colors like black and whatnot will be great. Had I still been in the CL today, I probably would have ordered that carpet a while ago

How about the trunk I've been trying to do a wood grain trunk when I pulled out the carpet the whole thing came put is it possible to take that carpet out from the accord and cut it up to make the measurements?

Drifting
Replacing the carpet flooring with wood? If so, just grab some cardboard, and trim that to fit the floor. Then pull it out of the trunk, and you'll have your exact shape and size that you need to make your wood floor. It's the same process people have been using to make false floor audio setups for years.
