I just took one screw out from the door pull and one from under the windows control. Than i just popped the very bottom corner and side of the door panel off to access the light. There is a screw that holds the security light in which i didnt know about so i just yanked it out ripping the screw loose. I know, not a good idea because now i have it ghettofied with super glue to keep it in place but you cant see that it is glued at all. Im going to get a new one from my dealer soon though. You should be able to unscrew it and pull the security light out the side of the door panel. There is a black plastic piece that pops off the security assemble and than you will see the LED. Then you will see two wires coming from it (red & yellow i think) I cut them and hooked up my varad LED right to them I just used crimp connectors. I originally thought it was red to red wires but it was the opposite. Good luck
