Wiper question...

You know what you tap down on the wiper it just goes by itself just once? Well...how long do you guys have to hold it before it goes by itself? Cause I can tap it until it's like 4 inches up the windshield before it'll start moving on its own. Can anyone answer this???

ahh shit, yeah, another wiper thread.

you have to hold it down for........as long as it takes. Not like we're gonna sit there with a stopwatch and time it. It's not meant to be "tapped", hold it down like a man, Mary.

Haha, mine does the same thing. Just hold it down!

It does make you look pretty dumb when it just gets stuck there though...

I'm guessing it does that so incase you accidently hit it, it won't go.

The real reason I want it to not do that is cause when I turn on the rain sensor, sometimes it'll stop in the middle of the windshield and look stupid. I hate that...

LOL, I know you would... living in Seattle and all. It really comes in handy when you live in a rainy area with off and on showers. It's so cool when it starts raining out of the blue and the wipers immediately turn on.

Here's the link

Wow, rain sensor mod... now that is cool. But as for the partial up, I thought that was to make it easier to change the blades, cause mine will stop too... But it may also be so that you can wash that area under the wipers down. I get tree crap in there all the time, silver mapples suck (buds, propellers, leaves, bird shit).
