Winter Tires
Hey fellas and lady, I am looking for a set of winter tires to put on my stock wheels. I was thinking perelli(sp?) but should I get all-season or ones made for the winter. I'll only be riding on them for a few months and then i have my Zenetii's for the rest of the year . Help please

how much you willing to spend ? if your only ridin them for the winter might as well get winter tires.. michelin has an artic alpine series that are one of the best on the market and if you feel the need for speed still go with their pilot alpine series then u can get H rated snow tires ( i work at a tire center .... yippy )

just go to www.tirerack.com they have some good suggestions. depending on how much it snows i aould go with the all season. but when you order winter tieres, sometimes you can buy the steel rim also.
:edit: wait.. you live in michigan and have those cool lake-effect snows. get some full blown winter tieres.

I currently run Michelin Arctic Alpins on the CL. I liked them so much that I got a set for the WRX as well. They're much quiter than the stock all season tires and seem to be able to corner better in the dry as well. I used to live in upstate NY & I've never ever had the CL stuck anywhere.
Once you try winter tires in winter conditions, you'll never go back.
