i ordered a mugen style lip for my car yesterday

theyre gonna chop it up from a 99 civic and mold it to my car

then painted to match the black paint...not gonna be carbon anymore cus its cut

If you think they are sooo crappy, then why did you order one?

 

ive tried this before except with an integra lip. have the body shop use 40/40 epoxy i think its called? or 20/20 not sure but its made for abs plastics. if they use bondo or fiberglass its just gonna crack. theyre probably gonna have to extend the ends i would have tried an accord lip so you can just cut them shorter and put it 2gether

 

that should be a fun project

WTH didn't you get an accord lip? I was lookin at the mugen accord lips, but not sure I wanna go that route. And why did you get a c/f one if you're cutting it and painting it?

I don't see why he got c/f, he coulda gotten the poly or abs plastic accord "mugen" style lip and it would have been easier and cheaper to modify

 

i think it'll look good cuz i put an accord mugen lip up to my car to see if it would fit and it didn't but it looked like it would be nice on the CL...if done right...

and on buying a poly or abs lip cuz one of those are like $140 (cdn) max and a C/F one would be a bit more...

 

u guys are crazy...the lip itself cost me 100 dollars + 250 to chop mold and paint
