Ive got a 97 2.2 CL. I have never been able to figure out what in the world the black plastic scoop thing on the drivers side windshield wiper is for? My friends always ask me and I just dont know. Any ideas. The passenger side doesnt have it.

 

its for downforce on the whiper, take it off and see how it works on the freeway

 

it's to keep the wiper against the windshield, so at high speed it'll wipe better

 

that was my guess when explaining it to my friends. Thanks guys.
