Wind deflector

I've had enough of the wind noiz on long road trips and I need a wind deflector for the moon roof.
I can't decide between the tape-mounted ones and the nuts and bolts variety. Which 1z better? The screwed-on seems more secure, but the guy at AutoTrak tells me not to waste the extra 20 bucks and get the 3M Tape-mounted instead. Choices Choices... Any ideas?

This is the model that I've had for a year, now. Well worth the $$$$!

I've got the bolted assembly and it just seems much more secure than the taped versions. The deflector is also thicker and seems like its manufacturered better, meaning better quality. The taped ones seem more flimsy and cheaper. Go with whatever floats your boat.

cheers on that, nuts and bolts always seem a safer bet

taped

Mine is taped...got it from pep boys for about 40 bucks. It seems very secure over the past year and does the job very well too. I dont think you will have any problems with the tape mounted one
