will these bulbs work???
Hey guys one of my superwhite bulbs just blew and i gotta get some new ones. I bought them but they are 4000k 55w bulbs. They look too damn yellow and dont match the blue ones i had before. After doing some research i realize that my old bulbs are 80w 4500k+ (i'm not sure which rating it is). And thats why its not as blue. Well i'm gonna take those back but its time to get a new set and i wanted to know if these will work....

they are 80 watt but i was thinking; maybe the fact that they are 80 watt and not 55 like what is stock maybe tahts why the blub blew soo fast. I had it for around 5 months but drive with my lights on all the time even during the day cuz the blue looked so hott. If i could get the same kinda life otta these i'll get em'
Anyway the problem is i wanted to know if the fact that the stock bulbs are 55w and my old ones and these ones are 80w; i wanted to know if i'm gonna mess up my wiring or anything by using these. Thanx 4 your help guys

They'll work, but don't be surprised if they burn out as quick. My suggestion would be to get PIAAs. They're more expensive, but by the time you replace several less expensive pairs, you'll spent what you would have for the PIAAs.
