Will eiback suffice

What's up. I'm going to be purchasing rims somewhere down the line. I'm probably going to go with 18's. I saw a pic posted of a CL with 18's and no drop it looked funny. I don't really want my car to be super-slammed but I don't want that 4X4 look either. I just don't want my car to look wierd.

So obviously if 18's are in my future then I'm going to have to do a drop. The thing is that I don't want to spend a lot of money dropping the car.

I've read from other posts on this board that I can get the Eiback springs, and that they would work fine with stock shocks. Is this true?

Also, Would the conservative drop of the Eiback springs be enough to compensate for the 4x4 look that 18's will give me.

i havent got my eibach springs yet, but when i get the money saved up i will. I've read on the board that u dont need new shocks with the eibach pro kit, but then i read in one post that after a few months u need new shocks because the kit wears them out. i dunno if this is true or not. i hope its not true because thats gonna take a couple weeks to save up for. if anyone has the pro kit and didnt get new shocks and theyre still workin good, please let me know. thanx

Stock shocks should be ok with the Eibach Pro-Kit.

However, I would recommend installing aftermarket shocks while you have the springs off. This will save you $$$ when you eventually will need to replace the OEM shocks.

Do it yourself and do it all at once like dust said. Save you cash and nothing can beat an adjustable ride. It really amazes me how those AGX's work.........

You will eventually have to replace the shocks, that's inevitable. Like dust said, it'll save you money if you do both together.
