Will this cluster work??????
hey guys; a while ago when installing my indiglos i broke the temp guage needle. And lately i've noticed my fan staying off for a while after the engine has been turned off. And i'm scared that something may be wrong but i dont have a temp guage to find out.... so i'm in need of a temp gauge not necessarily the whole cluster just the guage; but i can't seem to find a temp gauge by its self (just that part of teh assembly from the cluster) so will this work???????

that second cluster will work for sure......but im almost positive you can buy the gauge seperate...also, its normal for the fan to keep running after you turn the car off.....

both clusters will work... the only thing is that the Font on the gauges is different, so you have to swap all the gauges from the accord cluster to the CL cluster.
It sucks, I have a temperature gauge, but its broke as well.
I'm gonna call that second place, as its really close to me, and I'll see if I can get just a temperature gauge for you.

I just got off the phone with Latham Speedometer (the second listing) and they have a CL cluster in stock... he said if you want it to email them, he gave me a price of $120 for the full cluster with 42kmi on it (I think he said 42, its somewhere near there)

My car does that if it is realy hot out, and i bet its more hot in FL than it is here. Get it fixed soon, but i wouldnt sweat the fan staying on when the car is off.

Thanx for teh help sumkid i really appreciate ur effort...
But if the one thats for sale for the accord is 80 bucks and its going to work fine, I do not want to spend 120 for the CL one. Also my car has over just over 84k on it. How would i roll the odo up?? (i would just leave it lol; but it was just recently insured with a new company that has a recorded milage of 81.5k)
Reason for asking, is the accord one not going to work? And will I HAVE to have one specifically for the CL???
Once agin thanks alot SumKid i didn't think anyone would take the time out to acutally call for me. thanks!

I just suggested the CL cluster to keep the same font... the cluster they have is from a 98 too, so the needles are orange instead of white.
The accord cluster will work fine, you just have to switch the gauges from the accord cluster to the CL cluster cause the mounting points are different between the Accord and CL.
The mileage CAN be adjusted... I dunno about legality issues, but if you change it to the mileage thats really on the car, I dont personally see a problem. I'd say thats better than making it look like the car has half the mileage, by leaving the mileage alone.

the needles do not light up, rather they are just colored differently... they look really cool if you add white/silver face gauges!!
Its really up to you... the CL cluster is a direct swap, while the accord cluster needs a little attention... but its not hard to swap the gauges at all (3 or 4 screws a piece hold them in from the back and make all the connections)
how ever much $$ you wanna spend... if you get the accord cluster, I can tell you how to swap the gauges if you have trouble with it.
