it's your intake. When sitting at idle, turn your A/C off, see if that makes it quiter

Welcome to the "3.0 Short Ram Hum Club" get used to it, it's not going away...and everyone will ask and stare at your car. Funny at first, but alittle annoying now. May go to CAI, but I heard that still hums to on the 3.0

Yep, i bought a CAI from a short ram and i noticed NO difference at all in noise or the hum. It still whistles like :bubbarubb !So, no reason to upgrade to the CAI, you still whistle. :bubbarubb

put your stock intake back on and check it. It may sound like it's comming from the engine but it's really not. When i put one on my girlfriends CL it sounded like it was the engine. So i put the stock intake back on. Sound went away.

I've heard the hum come from a short ram on Perfecto's car. But I've installed three cold air intakes on 3 CLs, and no humming what so ever. Just make sure you installed them correctly.

It really depends on what intake Got Rice, the AEM's are real quite. I've installed maybe a dozen on CL's and V6 accords and they all have it, but the AEM's seem to be very quite.

Acura3.0CL. The dealer is just going to tell you it's the intake. It'll be their easy way out of the situation. Your best bet is to put on your stock unit. Then if it continues keep it on for when you go to the dealer.

All I've done on CLs were AEM. But I also did a Focuz short ram on a RSX and a Velocity CAI on a 1.8T...All no humming.

if it got louder all of a sudden, u might want to check the tube that connects to the back side of the intake, I think it hums louder when it comes off, or maybe when its on, I cant remember, but check it out
