wider rear wheel?
how does the whole thing with the wider rear wheel work? Does the car have to be rear wheel drive for you to be able to use a wider rear wheel? I'm just asking because it looks soo hot on like the Bimmer'z with the sport package and the porsche's but of course those are all rear wheel drive cars. What are the ups and downs? is it possible to do it on the cl? thanx for help guys :-)

I, personally like the way it looks...my friend and I were talking about it today and I was telling him that I would do it if I had the money to get wider rims and tires for the back.....I say go for it
If it is possible for you...

Downs:
Even more understeer than stock because all the weight is up front in a FWD car.
More drag from wider tire=slower car.
Looks silly to people who realize you have a FWD car.
Ups:
Can't really think of any...
If anything, you should be putting the better rubber up front!
