that peice that is right under the CD player? I have a cassette player under my CD and I want to order it, but I have no clue what it's called or where to find it. HELP!

 

Are you referring to the storage compartment with the flip-up front cover? Click on the pics in my sig. (go to page 2, and look at my console) to see if this is what you mean.

 

That's it. Where can I get one of those? I've tried A&H Motorsports...and want to avoid the dealership until I've tried all other options (i.e. getting it cheaper).

 

your trying the wrong places. go to mobilewestonline.com. they not only carry new stuff, but they can get just about anything used for most any car ever made. as a matter of fact, they have that storage box in stock!

 

I would wait for other acura-cl.com board memebrs to respond (in case they have one "lying" around). Check in the A/V and Electronics Forum. Many people who put in aftermarket decks can't use this storage compartment anymore.

Also check with your local junk/wrecking yard.

Unfortunately, there were several board members who wrecked their cars recently. You may want to contact them directly to see if you can get it from them.

I realize that the dealership prices are outrageous, but this part may not be that expensive (?) It may be worth checking.

I would check mobilewest then because im sure they can beat the $75 my stealership wanted for the pocket but you def want to get it because it looks much nicer than an other install kits. Check out the link for the wood dash in my sig to see a pic of it w/my pioneer headunit
