there is enough room and enough vent for the heat to travel
high heat paint is designed for:
-exhaust
-headers
-metalic valve covers etc.

iv had my blackhousing for about 1.5 years and have had absolutely no issues
plus do you really think the "chrome" in there is highheat?

if it created that much heat in the headlights, like it would on a header or such it would have already fucked up my headlights, because we used simple flat black spary paint.

any words of advice regarding this, I think i'm going to get around to doing this shortly, but an VERY paranoid about fogging or cracking something.

just dont be to ruff with the equipment and use enough silicone and you should be fine.
