3.0 CL short ram against an A4 QUATTRO 1.8T drop in filter
and a 3.0CL against a Teg LS nonVTEC with intake and exhaust

my 2.2 with inake/exaust is dead even with LS intake/exaust

I would have to know whether the audi is a 16 valve or a 20v b/c I can punish both of them, but the 20v is a little difficult, and my 2.2 is alittle faster than 3.0s

FYI I can also punish a A4 2.8 24v but the 30v kicks my ass

that is all

a chip will go a long way in the 1.8T motors.

stock 1.8T gets romped in the auto and stick versions. a chipped one with I/E/downpipe will fawk you up..

Are you using NAAAWWWSS?

Otherwise I don't see how w/o a swap. I've raced several 2.2s and 2.3s...Same result every time. Not even close.

Different tracks produce different times. If you're ever in Atl we'll go for a run. I'm really curious if your 2.2 runs as strong as my 3.0. It'd be fun regardless.

teg LS should be beat.. but if they have mods, they can give a fight :-P .. that is if they are stick and are good enough at it.. i know one that does a 16.0 1/4 mile, he has intake, exhaust and new spark plugs-- 16.0 is just as fast as a 3.0 CL

I dont think an LS integra will put up a fight at all, they are dogs. You should beat the audi. clac225, bring that 2.2 on

i race 2 different teg GSR and pull on them. I race my friend prelude, took him at launch and at second he start pulling up but at ~60-70 my start pulling out again. Do yall take off with D3, then shift to D4 after the second gear?

Shift to D4 after you near redline on D3...I usually do it around 100-105 since it takes a little bit to switch over.

I would love to run my car again, but down here in redneckville, they only 1/8mile

It's been over a year since I pulled that 15.8, (I guess its something be proud of, all my civic friends laughed at me), but I'll get it ready.

Can I bring the Lenzos???

btw: dont knock the LS, LS 5speed w/ same mods, is dead even with me

all of the LS integra's are non-vtec. considering the car has almost as much HP as the CL, it's a good thing that you can keep up with the LS.

I have a 2.3 with ex/cai/header and can beat ls integs by a few cars in the 1/8th depending on the launch. I can usually keep up with my friends gsr integ. Sometimes he wins sometimes me. His gsr has cai and muffler. Pretty even race, just depends on who launches better.

Also I've raced golf 1.8t in my 2.3 and it's really close. Never raced a4 1.8t, but isn't it the same engine with less weight in the golf?

sorry to say, your friend must be one hell of a crappy driver in a gsr if he looses to you. i won't even dare to race my friend's gsr. it's in a different league.

How do you know it was a 3.0? I still have my doubts about any bolt on modified 2.2/2.3 beaing able to come anywhere close to 3.0 speeds. Much less a stock one.

What a stupid argument. You might as well say that a CL is faster than a ferrari because you raced one that was driven by my grandmother. When people talk about racing cars, they assume that the people racing have some clue on how to drive their cars. If the cars are a pretty close match, then it is a driver's race, BUT a 300ZX TT is not a driver's race or any other race that the other person is even aware of.

My h22 is not running right now, its back at the machine shop getting over bored pistons installed. Once everything gets tuned and the car is running nicely I should be going to the track. I've been working on this engine for about a year now. It just takes alot of time if you want things done right the first time. Oh by the way the h22 now has a 150 shot from a direct port NOS system.

I second that, you dont beat the car you beat the driver. Telling people you beat a 300zx tt will just make them laugh at you.:P

Nice.

People actually working to make their cars perform better than wondering "will x beat y".
