whoa the stock headlights blow...
I just got home and I've officially deemed our stock headlights unsafe. When there's a car behind me I can actually see my own shadow in front of me.
I know that many of you have done the HID conversion which is what I'd love to do, only I don't have the $$ for it.
I'm thinking of doing the 9005/9006 conversion. First, how difficult is this to do? Second, do you get flashed at all the time for driving w/ your brights on?
I need some lighting solution other than HID's or stock. What do you guys think is the best way to go??
thanks

Also, he'd be better off getting driving lights instead of fog lights as fogs are made for up close, wide-field view; and driving lights are made the far-field, up the road vision.

buy some PIAA superwhites and do the conversion. I just bought some bulbs from moforose3.0 and they are really a lot brighter compare to stock bulbs. Just angle them down a bit and no one will give you any problems with flashing and what not... then now my signal and bumper lights look really really yellow compare to the new bulbs

just cut the notch out inside the bulb connector and thats it. end of story. enjoy the cheapest most effective lighting mod for the $$$. only thing better for the $$$ than that is a real xenon setup not a kit. u spend way too much on a kit that doesnt even give u the real perfromance of xenon.

thats one bmw bi-xenon projector vs one piaa 9005 in my low and high. just one bmw bi-xenon projector is better than both oem with 9005s. hhaha
