So who has the comptech headers on the 1st gen that will fit the 6 speed CLS? Just curious as to who has them on our cars. I'd also like to make an offer for them. I'm willing to trade my OBX headers/downpipe for them and give you $300, plus pay shipping costs and paypal fees.

BUT THEY HAVE TO FIT THE 6 SPEED!!!!!! Any takers?

how much would you sell your obx headers for? i assume they have already been custom bent for the 3.0

 

Cause they run for $1,100 brand new through our vendors. Otherwise it's $1,250 from the Comptech site. Just looking to trade with someone who doesn't really need them for fitment issues. These are the only headers that fit the 6 speed and I need them simply for fitment due to the additional motor mount which comes with this swap I'm doing.

 

I'll probably get rid of them for $170 + shipping.

my stone racing headers are for the 6 speed. i got them from ebay for 300$ and they fit pretty good.

I never knew that there were 3.0 headers that you could get that didn't need bent. What brand are they, and are the for the 2nd gen type s?

From what I was told, that was a misprint. They dont fit the 6 speeds because the rear header doesnt have the extra bend for clearance of the extra motor mount the 6 speed CLS's have. From my understanding, the only header that fits the 6 speeds, are the Comptech ones. This is what I was told by the guro's from the 2nd gen forums.

 

mine have the bend..on the back header. so does the one dude man is sellin above..

 

What year CL-S is the motor and transmission you are swapping? I am curious what headers fit our cars without bending. Wilp99, yours are for the 6 speed, what year CL-S would it fit?

 

i guess all the years, tho it only came in 6 speed in 03..but seing that it fit my car, im sure it would fit from 97-03..and prolly the tl's too.
