Wheres the Newbie Thread??

Hey, ive searched for like 30 min...i cant find the thread make for newbies with info and all that. Someone said that newbie thread says how to take apart and uninstall your factory headunit which i need to know how to do...can anyone help me out with info or a link?? thanks!

Carefully take the trim off around the radio (houses the clock, and emergency flasher button). Once that is off there are 2 screws below the "cubby" take those out and you are good to go. The 2 screws are back in there a bit. You can also hook onto them with I think an 8 or 10mm socket. Hope this helps.

there is a thread around here somewhere as to removal of the OEM HU. As to where it is, I don't know. And the newbie thread its also here somewhere. I just gave the slick and undetailed directions of how to remove the HU.
