Where to buy?

Hello everyone, I did a search on shock sensors and I got the instructions on how to hook them up but I couldn't fin anything on where to buy them or how much they run. I qould like to buy it from a local shop if possible. Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit city, would any of these places carry them. Oh and if anyone could tell me how long it takes to hook this up, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance

You can buy them at local stores, but they will charge you about 20 bucks too much. Online wise, you can go to www.autotoys.com and buy it from them. If you get it to work, let us know with pics if possible, how you did it.

Among the 1st gener's, only a couple have made it work right. The instructions that you find in the extremely useful topics forum is for the CL-S(2nd gen)...which is not going to work for you on your 1st gen. If you are using other directs then I wish you the best of luck. I am not trying to say that you won't get it to work, just that if you do, it would be really nice if you could get a digicam and snap a pic of which wires you tap.

Among the first gen. I think everybody was able to get it to work. I got mine to work. The trick is to place the sensor where the fuse box is, or passenger side if possible. If you place it in the center of the car, it wouldn't go off because the sensor won't move.
