hey guys,

im planning on getting a first-gen CL 3.0....but i am not sure which year i should get......

are there anything differences in the interior and exteriors of the different years? or any mechanical flaws in a certain year?

Their are a few differences in betewwn years
I would get a 98 or newer

the only differences are diferent rims, minor diff in the dash betwen 97 and 98 and up, and color and interor options.

Hey i everyone i gut a ?

I drove my friends 98 2.3 and the sunrodd button does not stop at close, like it its slid back and i close it it goes to close then keeps going to pop up. Is this normal?

o and the 98 and newer have orange needles on the guages not white

 

I agree get a 98 or up. better looking center console and a few more gadgets. Steering wheel mounted radio controls, standard leather, home link, and a few other things Good luck

 

The grill is also different in the 98+ almost vertical slants instead of the horizontal bar.

The only difference between the '98 and '99 is that the things that came in the premium package in '98 were standard in '99. So if you get a '98, it would be preferable to have the premium package (leather, heated seats, HomeLink, heated side mirrors, upgraded Bose stereo).
